The Organising Committee Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi, today announced Coca-Cola India as the official beverage for the XIX Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi. Coca-Cola India, the country's largest soft drink manufacturer today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to this effect.

Stephanie Rice booked a place at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi when she won the 200m individual medley at the Australian selection trials on Tuesday.
Rice swam a time of 2:10.07 to edge out fellow Queenslanders Emily Seebohm (2:10.75) and Alica Coutts (2:11.97).

Commonwealth 2010 clean up targets Delhi beggers
People living in Delhi’s shanty towns are being swept off the city's streets as it prepares to host the Commonwealth Games. As India's capital gears up for the October games, orders have gone out to clear the streets of beggars. Mobile anti-begging squads were formed last September to sweep the poor off the streets. Every morning teams of police, backed by mobile courtrooms, roam the city targeting the wealthy areas of South Delhi and tourist precincts.
